AI inputs are processed transiently. Content you submit through Report a Concern is stored for review; see the Privacy Policy. Your own AI provider’s retention rules apply when using your own keys.
* Autocompletion is rate-limited to 120 requests per minute to ensure fair usage.
** AI agent requests beyond your plan's priority quota (the Zero plan and the free trial include none) continue at a slower shared pace to ensure fair access for all users.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes — eligible new TabMail accounts start with a free 2-week trial as soon as you sign up. No credit card, no plan to choose. Previously redeemed trials may make an account ineligible. The trial includes the full feature set and runs on the standard shared AI queue; Basic and Pro add a priority AI budget, so your AI agent requests run faster. When the trial ends, subscribe to any plan to keep TabMail's AI features.
What is the Zero plan?
Zero is our bring-your-own-key (BYOK) plan, for users who want TabMail's AI to run on their own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google API account. Your subscription covers TabMail's infrastructure—sync, push notifications, and secure AI routing—while AI usage is billed directly by your provider. It includes no priority AI budget: without your own keys, AI agent requests still work but run at the slower shared-queue pace. A note on cost: depending on your provider and model choice, TabMail's AI features can consume a significant API bill on your account — compare your provider’s usage charges with the Basic and Pro subscription prices before choosing.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Can I switch plans?
Absolutely! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Switching to a lower tier takes effect at the end of your billing period—you'll keep your current features until then. Note: Subscribing while you're on the free trial starts billing immediately and ends the trial—any remaining trial days are forfeited.
What happens if I reach my usage limit?
Your service continues to work, just at a slower pace. You can upgrade anytime for immediate access to higher limits.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same rate. You can cancel anytime through your TabMail account—cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you'll keep full access until then. No additional charges apply after cancellation.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
With yearly billing, you save on your subscription compared to paying monthly. All prices exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
When does my billing cycle reset?
Billing cycles are based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) anniversary dates. Your billing period resets at midnight UTC on your anniversary date, which is determined by when you first subscribed. For example, if you subscribed on January 15th at 3:00 PM EST, your billing cycle will reset on the 15th of each month at midnight UTC, regardless of your local time zone.
