Talk to your inbox. TabMail’s chat agent understands natural language and can search, read, reply to, and manage your emails—plus work with your calendar and contacts.

What the agent can do

Email operations

  • Search — Find emails by sender, subject, date, keywords, or full-text content.
  • Read & summarize — Get the gist of an email or thread without reading the whole thing.
  • Reply — Draft responses and send them when you’re ready.
  • Archive / Delete — Move emails out of your inbox or remove them entirely.

Calendar operations

  • Search events — Find meetings and appointments by date, attendee, or keyword.
  • Create events — Schedule new calendar entries with natural language (“Meeting with Sarah next Tuesday at 3pm”).

Additional capabilities

  • Web search — Look up information online to inform your replies.
  • Knowledge base — Access personal notes and context you’ve saved.
  • Memory — Recall past conversations to maintain context across sessions.
  • Reminders — See a quick list of follow-ups when you open chat.
  • Proactive check-ins — Get notified when something noteworthy happens, even before you open chat.

How to use the agent

Open the chat window (see Open Chat) and ask for what you need:

  • “Show me emails from John about the quarterly report.”
  • “What meetings do I have this week?”
  • “Help me reply to Sarah’s email about the conference.”
  • “Schedule a call with the team for Friday at 10am.”

The agent figures out which tools to use and handles the details.

Reminders

Reminders surface when you open chat and help you track follow-ups from your inbox and knowledge base. See Reminders to learn how to configure and manage them.

Privacy

When you use AI features, email content is sent for processing but is not retained. You can always disable AI features at any time with a single toggle in your settings. For more details, see Privacy Policy.
