Calendar Tools
Manage your calendar through conversation. The agent can search for events and create new ones.
Finding events
Ask about your schedule:
- “What meetings do I have tomorrow?”
- “When is my next call with Sarah?”
- “Show me all events for next week”
- “Do I have anything scheduled on Friday afternoon?”
The agent queries your calendar and presents the results in a readable format.
Creating events
Schedule new meetings and appointments:
- “Schedule a meeting with the team for Tuesday at 2pm”
- “Create a reminder to follow up with John on Friday”
- “Block off Thursday morning for focused work”
- “Set up a weekly 1:1 with Sarah, starting next Monday at 10am”
The agent will confirm the details before creating the event.
Natural time expressions
You can use natural language for dates and times:
- “tomorrow morning”
- “next Wednesday at 3”
- “in two hours”
- “the first Monday of next month”
The agent understands these expressions and translates them to actual calendar entries.
Integration with email
Calendar and email work together. You can ask things like:
- “Check if I’m free when Sarah suggested in her email”
- “Schedule a meeting based on what John proposed”
The agent uses context from your emails to help with scheduling.
Editing events
You can update existing events and TabMail will show you a preview of the proposed changes before applying them.
Examples:
- “Move my 3pm meeting tomorrow to 4pm”
- “Change the location of the team meeting to Room 301”
- “Rename ‘Catch-up’ to ‘Weekly sync’ and make it 30 minutes”
Deleting events
You can delete events with a confirmation step, so you can review what will be removed.
Examples:
- “Cancel my dentist appointment on Friday”
- “Delete the meeting titled ‘Budget review’ next week”
